About three months ago I was accepted into the YouTube Partner Program. Now, without warning and with vague claims of “false content,” my monetization has been pulled. I invested in Veo and other AI tools to create meaningful content for our audience, investing real money to improve production value. To demonetize in this way—especially after you’ve allowed us in—feels like punishing a family trying to do good work and cover essential medical costs.
This isn’t just about a channel; it’s about trust, fairness, and the lived consequences for a parent trying to care for a child with autism. The policy there’s a clear inconsistency: YouTube monetizes AI-assisted use for some creators while penalizing others who are using the same tools responsibly. There’s no prior warning, no transparent criteria, and no concrete guidance on what constitutes “false content” in AI-assisted ASMR videos.
I’m calling on YouTube to: - Immediately review the decision on @WhichWorldVerse with explicit, published criteria for what qualifies as “false content” in AI-assisted ASMR. - Provide a transparent path for monetization reinstatement or a clear explanation if monetization cannot be restored. - Align enforcement with a fair, predictable policy that protects small creators who invest time, effort, and resources to produce legitimate content for their audiences.
